The loop back to Wapiti trailhead took us along the Yellowstone river and provide view of the Upper Fall.
This hike was mostly downhill with one uphill portion as we made our way along the riverbank up to the road. There is wooden path that provide overlook of the Upper Falls as it flows down the Yellowstone River. There are a few good spots along the river for exploring, but be careful because the current is strong since it’s heading straight for the Upper Falls.
Trailhead taken: via Lower Falls observation deck
Difficulty: Easy (1 hr)
