We don’t read and write poetry because it’s cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for.
I wish to see the world and climb every mountains. I might not conquer all my fears and overcome every obstacles, but there must be substance for my own sustenance.
I grew up loving to draw chalk on sidewalks and doodles in notebook. That grew to short stories and skits in college. Then I got my hand on my first camera, a Canon point and shoot. I eventually outgrew that and got my first DSLR, a Nikon D40. After a few years shooting and experimenting, I upgraded to a Nikon D90 and continue my learning of photography. I’ve since combined that with my love of traveling and hiking.
